Tomorrow a delegation of cwtts will meet the osd to discuss about the go related problems and get up- to -date informations of our approvals at 2.30 pm.
 we will also try to talk to the joint secretary, dept. of higher education.

ON 10TH JUNE A DELEGATION OF CONTRACTUAL LECTURERS MET WITH THE JOINT SECRETARY, DEPT. OF HIGHER EDUCATION, TO FOLLOW UP ON YESTERDAY'S VISIT.
THE MEETING WAS POSITIVE AND HIGHLY INSPIRING.
A PETITION FOR MASS-DEPUTATION TO THE MINISTER IN CHARGE, DEPT. OF HIGHER EDUCATION, GOVT. OF WEST BENGAL HAS BEEN PLACED TO THE MINISTER FOR HIS KIND CONSIDERATION.
THE DATE  FOR THE DEPUTATION WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN THIS BLOG.
WE EARNESTLY REQUEST ALL THE CWTTS TO ATTEND THE SAID DEPUTATION.

ON 9TH JUNE A DELEGATION OF CONTRACTUAL LECTURERS MET WITH THE HONOURABLE MINISTER IN CHARGE, DEPT. OF HIGHER EDUCATION, AND THE JOINT SECRETARY OF THE DEPT. TO DISCUSS ABOUT THE PROBLEMS THAT THE CONTRACTUAL LECTURERS ARE ENCOUNTERING EVEN  AFTER THE PUBLICATION OF THE AMENDMENTS .
THE HIGHER EDUCATION MINISTER ASSURED OUR DELEGATION THAT THE GOVT. WILL ENDEAVOUR TO ENSURE THAT THESE PROBLEMS ARE ADDRESSED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AND WILL TRY TO WORK TOWARDS THE BENEFIT OF ALL THE CONTRACTUAL LECTURERS.
WE ARE HIGHLY GRATEFUL TO THE HIGHER EDUCATION MINISTER AND THE EXECUTIVE MINISTERS FOR TREATING US WITH RESPECT AND SYMPATHY.
WE ARE HOPEFUL THAT MOST OF THE CONTRACTUAL LECTURERS ARE SOON TO BE BENEFITED FROM THE GOVT. ORDERS.

To day  at 2.30 p.m. a delegation of CWTT will meet Joint Secretary,Higher Education Department,Government of West Bengal to discuss our go related problems.

To day at 6.30 pm.a delegation of cwtts met with the honourable minister in charge, deptt. of higher education and asked for an appointment as per as possible.  Honorable minister  were assured of assigning an appointment with him to discuss about newly released GOand our problems as soon as possible.

on 4th june 2011, a leading daily in west bengal reported that the newly elected govt. has decided to review the disproportionate pay structure in the higher education.
it further claimed that the minister in charge, dept of higher education has issued a press release about having been able to waive certain "difficult" conditions that were present in the former govt. order.

a delegation of cwtts met with the honourable minister in charge, deptt. of higher education to congratulate him. the delegation was warmly received by the honorable minister and were assured of assigning an appointment with him to discuss about our problems as soon as possible.

on 24 th may a delegation of cwtts met with the newly elected chief minister at her residence at Kalighat to congratulate her. on being intimated about the plight of the cwtts over the 400 odd colleges in west bengal she assured that she will look into the matter as soon as possible.
